Your privacy at Gifsi.

Information you provide

We may collect your email address, account credentials, design text and settings, saved projects, purchase-related details, subscription status, and messages you send to support. The words, names, dates, milestones and other content you enter into a generator are stored when you save a draft or purchase a design.

Uploaded photos

The Pet Portrait and Photo Collage photo pickers prepare a smaller JPEG on your device and removes location metadata before sending it to Gifsi. We do not upload or retain the original file. The prepared copy is sent to render the preview, without a persistent user-image cache or public photo URL. When you save or purchase, the prepared copy and crop settings become part of your private design. If sign-in is needed, a temporary copy is kept in this browser tab’s session storage for up to 24 hours of recovery access and is cleared after a successful save; closing the tab ends that session. Before an upload can be accepted, a prepared copy is sent to OpenAI for an automated safety check. It is not used here for image generation or editing. The provider may retain API data under its own data-handling terms; see OpenAI API data controls. A failed or unavailable check does not approve an upload. Automated checks can make mistakes and do not guarantee that every harmful image will be detected. Public photo sharing remains disabled.

Free draft access lasts 30 days from the last save. Seller access follows the paid subscription. These are access periods, not guaranteed physical deletion deadlines: expired drafts are removed during account maintenance, and saved or licensed design snapshots and generated downloads may be retained for re-downloads and service operation. Removing a photo from an editable draft and saving replaces that draft’s photo; it does not remove copies in other saved designs, licensed downloads, or files you already downloaded. Drafts can be deleted in My Prints. For deletion of purchased or licensed photo copies, contact support; related operational records and provider backups may have separate retention requirements. Personal-photo designs cannot create public share links or social pins.

Payment information

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Gifsi does not need to store your full payment card number. Stripe may collect payment, billing, fraud-prevention and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

Account and storage services

Gifsi uses Supabase for account authentication, database storage and related backend services. This can include your account identifier, saved drafts, purchased projects, subscription records, support records and export usage needed to provide the service.

Email and support

Gifsi may use Brevo to send transactional or support-related email, including account or support communications. If you opt in, we may also use Brevo to send new-print announcements, offers and recommendations about Seller, Seller Pro and annual plans. This is optional and is not required to create an account or buy a print. We store your email preference with your account, together with its update time, source and consent text version. You can withdraw consent in My Prints under Email preferences or use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Account, security and purchase emails are separate from marketing preferences. When you contact support, we may process your email address, subject, message and design name so we can respond and investigate the request.

Coordinate finder

The coordinate finder loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, whose servers receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address and the requested map area. Place or address searches are sent to Photon only when you press Search and may be cached for one day. We do not request your device location. Custom map prints request vector map tiles from OpenFreeMap for the area you choose, through Gifsi’s server; map areas may be cached, and the rendered geographic snapshot is stored as part of a saved or purchased design. Coordinates you choose stay in the tool until you copy or transfer them to a print; they become part of the design if you save or purchase it. Analytics

Gifsi uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and which pages and features are useful. Google Analytics may receive information such as page views, browser or device details, approximate location derived from network information, referral information and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies. We use this information to improve the site, measure traffic and understand product usage.

How we use information

• Provide accounts, saved drafts, purchases, downloads and re-downloads.
• Process payments and manage Seller subscriptions and export allowances.
• Deliver customer support and service messages.
• Protect Gifsi from fraud, abuse, security threats and technical failures.
• Understand site usage and improve generators, pages and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms where necessary.

Drafts and purchased designs

Free drafts are designed to remain available for 30 days from the last save, subject to the account draft limit and normal service operation. Purchased designs are intended to remain in My Prints for future re-downloads. We may retain transaction and operational records for legitimate business, security, tax, accounting or legal purposes even when other content is no longer active.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Gifsi, such as Stripe, Supabase, Brevo, Google Analytics and hosting or infrastructure providers, only as needed for their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer.

Cookies and similar technologies

Gifsi and its service providers may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for authentication, saved-design recovery, security, preferences and analytics. Browser controls can limit some of these technologies, but disabling them may affect account, draft or checkout functionality.

Your choices

You can choose not to create an account, although saved drafts, purchases and My Prints require an account. You can also use browser privacy controls to limit cookies or analytics. To ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with your account, contact Gifsi support. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, transactions or legal compliance.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect Gifsi and its users, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Children

Gifsi is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally able to consent to use of the service in their location. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their handling of information is also governed by their own privacy terms and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Gifsi changes. When we make material updates, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
